Ambassador Waleed Taher Radwan

 

- Born 23/12/1954  in the city of Jeddah.

- Spent his primary education in Saudi Arabia , then in Egypt where he received his General certificate of higher education from Victoria college , and a B.Sc. in Engineering from Cairo University in the year 1976

- Received several specialized diplomas and participated in many seminars and courses in the fields of Engineering , Project Management and Information Technology.

- After graduation worked with multinational private sector companies for three years before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was promoted along the diplomatic Echelon.

- Received several specialized courses in Public administration and diplomatic studies.  

- Participated in the works of the International anti terrorism conference held in Riyadh – Saudi Arabia , and the Joint  E.U. / GCC Foreign Ministers conference .

- Received honors from many officials including H.E. Mr. Ban Ki Moon the secretary General of the U.N. , also Mr. Steinmeier the former German Foreign Minister.

- Fluent in English and French.

- During his diplomatic career, worked in Tunisia , and France,  where he was assigned, beside other duties, several Economic and Media/information responsibilities.

- Assigned as General Manager of the Property Management Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H.Q. in Riyadh since 2004 until his appointment as Saudi Ambassador in Warsaw.

- Married and has three  sons.
